Johnelia has been involved in the healthcare industry for over 30 years, with experience in billing, coding, auditing, education, clinical documentation, risk adjustment, and clinical medical assisting. She is a passionate educator for her primary employment as well as her private Certified Professional Coding (CPC®), and (CRC® Certified Risk Adjustment Coding students. Johnelia served as the medical billing and coding education chair for Everest Institute, Georgia Medical Institute, and Altiris College. Johnelia currently serves as the AAPC CPC/CRC exam review facilitator and certification exam reviewer for the state of Nevada and the state of California. Johnelia currently hold the position as Education Officer for the 2025 Las Vegas "Aces" , Nevada AAPC Chapter.
